The evening will begin at 6:30pm at the JCC with family friendly erev service featuring Torah reading by community teens. The program at the JCC will conclude at 8pm. Everyone is then invited to travel up the road (or maybe it’s down the road?) to Beth Israel for dairy potluck desssert buffet at 8:15 and adult learning picking back up again at 8:45 and lasting until 10:30pm. The final speaker will be about anti-Semitism on college campus- by Dr. Sam Kaplan, interim director of the Center for Jewish Studies at UNCA
