Legal wills provide guidance on how to distribute our resources. But ethical wills
have a very long Jewish history of providing us an opportunity to pass along our
ideas and experiences to those people who will remember us when we are gone.
There is no wrong topic to choose for an ethical will. Indeed, the biggest challenge
is often deciding what topic to write about. The reality is that we can write
multiple ethical wills on multiple topics.
This program on writing an ethical will trace the Jewish tradition of writing an
ethical will and will then provide a process for actually getting started with one.
