Ever wanted to record your family history for future generations? When CBI congregant
Shirley Kayne gave cassette tapes her father recorded about his life to her
daughter, Atlanta journalist Roni Robbins, she never expected the tapes to
become the basis of Robbins’ award-winning novel Hands of Gold. Learn from
Robbins’ efforts how to use research, genealogy, and interviewing skills to record
your own family history. Roni will have copies of her book for sale.
Please bring your own lunch. Water and dessert will be provided. Register HERE
This event is free for Beth Israel members and $10 for community guests.
