This illustrated workbook (to open, click link above) was created by Tikva Wolf as a meditative guide during the counting of the Omer, which is counted every nightfall starting the 2nd night of Passover until the night before Shavu’ot (marking when we received the Torah). This yearly cycle of counting lasts 49 days and every nightfall has its own opportunity for reflection. Each of the 7 weeks has its own focus and each of the 7 days within each week has its own focus within that focus.
During Sefirat Ha’Omer, we are invited on a mystical journey, a journey that spirals us deeper and deeper into discovering what exists within our psyches and souls. We will begin when the moon is full, and wander the desert back to the place that our souls first met and have always been. Every year I feel like I rediscover a part of my soul that was hidden from myself. Every year I feel closer to you. I am looking forward to seeing what we uncover.
For best results, print the workbook double-sided on 8.5″x11″ cardstock paper (but regular paper is also fine!). You could also just follow along on the PDF digitally and do the exercises in a separate notebook if you prefer.
This is a prototype version of the workbook, and everyone who goes through the exercises and gives me feedback might influence the final version (which will be available in print next year)!
Thank you for supporting my work!
