 iption: \nThe war that began with the Hamas attacks on Israel on Oct. 7\,
  2023 has had a dramatic impact on Israel\, Palestinians and the wider re
 gion. This 3 part mini-series will explore the impacts of the war.\nMonday
 \, April 28 – How has the war\, which has been fought on 7 fronts\, impa
 cted Israel especially on the fronts with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in L
 ebanon? Why was the war on these two fronts so different?\nTuesday\, May 2
 0 – What has the impact of the war been on Israeli society? How have the
  issues of the hostages\, reserve duty\, economic impacts\, and internal p
 olitical divisions played out in Israeli society?\n\n\nTuesday\, June 24 
 – How has the war impacted the region outside of the war zone? We will l
 ook at Lebanon\, Syria\, Iraq\, Egypt\, the Gulf States\, Saudi Arabia\, a
 nd Iran and what a post-war Middle East could look like.\n\n\nAbout the in
 structor:\nMuki Jankelowitz is an educator and guide. Since starting as a 
 Habonim youth group madrich in 1980\, he has taught and guided in many dif
 ferent contexts\, including teaching and later directing the ”Machon”-
  Institute for Diaspora Youth Leaders\, being Director of Educational Serv
 ices in the Israel office of the JCC Association and Senior Educator on th
 e JDC Buncher Jewish Community Leadership Program.  A licensed Tour Guid
 e since 1993\, Muki now works as a freelance guide and educator and has wo
 rked with a wide range of youth and student Programs\, Family groups\, and
  different organizations.\nMuki holds a BA in Sociology and History from W
 its University in Johannesburg\, an Honours degree in Biblical archaeology
  from the University of South Africa and an MA in Jewish Studies from the 
 Schechter Institute in Jerusalem.  Originally from South Africa\, he mad
 e Aliya in 1987. He has lived on Kibbutz Tuval\, served as a combat medic 
 and today lives in Modi’in with his wife\, Mandy and sons\, Shaked and N
 iv.
