 ns will meet at CBI on Sundays from 2:00 – 3:30.\nRegistration – Free

 RE\n\nSunday\, September 8\, 2024\nTitle – “Being – Until Our Last B
 reath”\nPresenter – Al Quiery\nWe are on a journey\, a journey that is
  both physical and spiritual.  People enter\nand leave our lives\, we wil
 l encounter hardship\, and hopefully we will also\nexperience moments of a
 we and great joy. Unlike Abraham and Moses\, we may\nnot benefit from dire
 ct Divine guidance\, but our experience in any moment has\nalways been inf
 ormed by our heritage\, faith\, past choices\, and external events.\nThe j
 ourney becomes our biography\, a narrative only partially written by us\; 
 often\nwith large tracts related to our life's work and our interactions w
 ith others.  Aging\nand illness can derail our story\, causing us to v
 eer from the course we had\nplanned.  Like Abraham and Moses\, however\, 
 we are capable of self-growth\, we\nhave the agency to change\, a fundamen
 tal Jewish principle. This session will\nexplore how our stories can conti
 nue to evolve\, even in the face of advancing\nage\, illness\, and disabil
 ity. The storyline continues until we take our final breath\;\nwe have pur

 4\nPresenters – Heather Goldstein and Della Simon\nHeather Goldstein\, a
 n attorney specializing in documents relating to aging\, and\nDella Simon\
 , an internist who specializes in medical care for the aging\, will\ndiscu
 ss legal and medical considerations for people as they age.\n\nSunday\, Se
 ptember 22\, 2024\nTitle – “Caretakers’ Resources”\nPresenter – 
 Rabbi Geoffrey Brown\nOur loved ones may require our hands-on caretaking w
 hether we are ready or\nnot to take on this colossal task. This session 
 will provide an outline/timeline on\nwhat one might encounter and will pro
 vide an Introduction to the confusing\nlabyrinth of resources that are ava
 ilable locally will be produced as a take away\nhandout\n\n&nbsp\;
