 an\nJewish communal prayer can be a profoundly powerful experience\, conne
 cting us to each other\, our history\, the world and something much bigger
  than ourselves. But for too many\, our services remain inaccessible and e
 nigmatic. We’re not fluent in Hebrew\, and even if we were\, the languag
 e is often off-putting and uninspiring\, or the very concept of God is inc
 omprehensible. Sounds familiar?  Let’s do something about it.\nBeginni
 ng Saturday\, June 1st\, CBI will be offering a monthly learners’ minyan
 \, “Unlocking the Power of Jewish Prayer.” Led by Alan Silverman\, thi
 s program will help you understand the what\, how and why of our servi
 ces. We’ll look at the history of our prayers\, what they’re trying to
  tell us and how to reframe them to speak to us. The goal is to give you t
 he tools and knowledge to not only feel comfortable in services but to con
 nect\, personally and communally\, in a more meaningful way.\nWe will meet
  the first Saturday of each month\, from 9:30 – 10:30 in the small chape
 l\, and rejoin the congregation for Torah service. You need not attend eve
 ry class. Come as you are—with your questions\, frustrations and hopes
 —and leave changed.
