 , April 7th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM for a\nunique program that combines enter
 tainment and learning.\n\nMore about the program:  In the late 1800s\, So
 uth Haven\, Michigan was called “The Atlantic City of the Midwest”. It
 s white sand beaches\, and a lake that \n\noften seemed more like an ocean
 \, gave it that reputation. Jewish\nimmigrants\, who came to the area as f
 armers in the late 1910s\nand early 1920s\, began converting their farms t
 o summer resorts.\nThe area then became known as “The Catskills of the M
 idwest”.\nEd Fidelman\, whose grandparents were among the first Jewish\n
 farmers mentioned above\, will narrate as he takes you on a multi-\nmedia 
 pictorial and video journey recalling the area’s rise\, fall and\nresurr
 ection as a popular vacation destination. In addition to\nhistorical infor
 mation on the area and its Jewish community\, he\nwill recount his persona
 l experiences growing up with each\nsummer spent at Fidelman’s Resort\, 
 which was\, in Ed’s humble\nopinion\, the crown jewel of the South Haven
