 es\n\nOnce you have made your Gel Printed\nPapers\, we will incorporate th
 em into the\ncover and the signature wrappers in our\nLeather Bound Sketch
  Book Journal.\n\nThis journal will be made using the\nLong Stitch Binding
  technique. The book\nlies flat for sketching or lettering. A button\nwill
  decorate the spine of this special book\nwhich will hold your writing\, a
 nd/or art or\nmake a unique gift.\n\nThe Gelli Plate is a tool that encour
 ages play\, but it can also\nbe a serious fine art tool. Learn the basics 
 of mono printing with\nthe gel plate\, but then take the processes further
  to create some\nbeautiful layered art. No experience necessary! Jacquelin
 e will\nguide you step-by-step as you create amazing papers loaded with\nl
 ayers of color and design. We’ll explore lots of processes with a\nvarie
 ty of media.\n\nWe will start with stencils\, but also work with creating 
 handmade marks\,\nand even painting directly onto the plate. Create\nmore 
 painterly effects using water to pick up bits of color already\non the pla
 te. Learn how to make collage papers as well as finished prints.\nPractice
  on a variety of papers and elevate your art\nbeyond simple printing with 
 stencils and you will become even\nmore addicted to this fun and simple pr
 inting process.\n\nJacqueline Sullivan works in mixed media\,\nacrylic pai
 nts\, pastels. calligraphy\, bookbinding\nand fiber arts - She has loved t
 hem all since she\nfirst discovered each medium. She has a degree\nin grap
 hic design and worked for many years as\na publication\, marketing and adv
 ertising designer\,\nbut her passion has always been with color\nand paint
 \, no matter what the surface or medium.\nJacqueline lives and works in Ci
