HOLLYWOOD: An Empire of Their Own
Our Potluck Supper and Film Program will focus on the Jewish presence in American film, works that feature the work of Jewish actors and/or directors and which often center on Jewish themes. The movies will be screened on the first Sunday of the month preceded by a pareve/dairy potluck supper. There is no charge, but donations to CBI’s Adult Education Program will be greatly appreciated.

April 3: Kirk Douglas/Lauren Bacall in Young Man with a Horn (1950)
May 8: Ingrid Bergman in A Woman Called Golda (1982)
Okay, we know Ingrid’s not Jewish—this is in conjunction with Celebration Israel
